Things You Should Know About Coffeologist
What is Coffeologist?
Coffeologist is a professional and internationally recognized qualification issued by Coffee Consulate (Germany). All participants must complete a set of module workshops before obtaining the qualification. The aim of this education is for coffeologists to be representatives of the entire "bean-to-cup" process, whose knowledge and field of activity extends beyond that of a standard barista. The education uses a scientific approach to deliver intense knowledge of the cultivation, processing, botany, defects and their causes, sensors, cup-tasting and coffee aromas as well as the fundamentals of barista work, roasting and management of coffee shops.
Aim of the Coffeologist
Coffee Consulate is an independent training and research centre that works on the basis of scientific knowledge and research. In addition to various one-day modular workshops, which can also be bundled together, it offers individually designed training courses for the coffee industry and coffee suppliers

Coffee Consulate's Recognizability
Coffee Consulate is an internationally renowned coffee training center founded by Dr. Steffen Schwarz. It has over a hundred alumni over the world, working in different sectors in the coffee industry.
Dr. Steffen Schwarz is a reputable presence in the world of specialty coffee. He was one of the founders of the Specialty Coffee Association of Germany (SCAG), and he was also Chairman of the Championship Committee. He is the author of numerous research papers and an active speaker on the international circuit.
